Hi, and many thanks for visiting this site. It is owned by Victor Ling who is a local business person and General Manager of Barkers Photographic.
To promote his
business he networked with other local businesses and it soon became
apparent that there were a lot of people who wanted a website but didn't
know who to turn to and didn't have a budget to go to professional
companies.
Victor has always been interested in technology and had
created his own websites previously, so he launched
economysites
to give smaller businesses a chance to have a website designed for a low
cost.
It seems that every type of business has buzz
words and acronyms (http, java, hosting, bandwidth etc etc). On the left
hand side you will see some advice guides which are written in plain
English and hope you find them useful.
You are also more than welcome to contact Victor for any help or advice that you may want - he is always happy to discuss potential projects or give you advice.
He will also give you up front pricing and there are no hidden extras like some website companies. Once you have paid for your site, it is then yours - no additional costs to pay.
Unlike most website companies, Victor also asks you to buy your own hosting (he will help and guide you). This means that you can get and pay for the hosting that YOU want rather than the hosting that suits us. You pay for this directly with the hosting company (ie no mark ups!)
